I posted on this a few days ago. When I opened VS, suddenly there were code separator lines and other symbols in the editor, all of which I find useless and distracting. I took me days to figure out how to undo this 'feature'.
Now, code collapsing will not work. I can click the + sign next to regions, properties, methods, etc, and they collapse. But the shortcut keys don't work (CTRL+M, CTRL+M).
Anyone know where in settings to look for this?
In theory, theory and practice are the same. But in practice, they never are.β

Try Tools > Options > Environment > Keyboard. Search for Edit.ToggleOutliningExpansion. This is the entry that maps to the collapse/expansion capability.

Kevin - what version of VS2022 are you using? I am spinning up the community edition, but it seems half baked, and I sure as heck don't have time to deal with MS "features."

All jokes aside, its good practice for how you treat all of your other co-workers. Doesn't really cost you anything but a few keystrokes and you're ready to talk to the next person.

Actually everyone.
I worked in restaurants when I was young. Even high class ones.
What you might have seen happen in movies when restaurant workers are mistreated is not a fantasy.
And when I was responsible for a automobile accident and was very respectable to the responding office I ended up with a much less severe final offense as applied by the DA.

So did I (sommer resort), and the worst customers were the wannabe rich (saving the whole year to spend one month there), instead of the really rich (coming the weekends during the whole year, not only in summer). They were extreme polite and respectful with me.
