Sorry, there's no cure for that, other than a full frontal lobotomy.
You could try an aural injection of heavy metal to drown it out, but that has its own side effects.

I especially like their "EINE FÜR ALLES - WIDOS 35XX" line. (One for All - Widos 35XX)
Is that the version that will actually run everywhere?
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

Indeed, Windows 7 was a great leap took by Microsoft after XP and Vista. Most users still enjoy Windows 7. But, days are gone. Accept the greatness of Windows 10 or suffer the aero effects.

Ahem... Some of us actually LIKE Aero.
And some are a bit odd... One of my users has his Win7 machine set up to look like Win98... Not even the XP look... The old gray toolbar. Has Aero disabled, so my WPF applications look horrible on his desktop.

Win10 upgrade damage control: so far lotsa folks reported issues w/video drivers (fixable), some others w/wifi drivers (ez fixable), but overall mood is rather positive. So, if anyone was "Gone with the Windows", i.e. got into the critical issues causing PC's fatal errors?
Btw, I've also noticed that the digital-era "War of Roses" (i.e. Mac vs. PC) kinda intensified these days: here's a good ol' video joke in this regards: Steve Jobs vs Bill Gates | Epic Rap Battles of History[^] ... Interestingly, the friend of mine with very long track record of Microsoft development recently posted about Win10 running smooth on Mac (in Parallels). Just couple words to add in this aspect:
The personal experience with computer HW/SW could be very different from the institutional one. Statistically, running business on PCs is less expensive than on Macs. I've personally built several hundred PCs and can tell you that if it's done well in the first place, then it works for years. But, as a former electrical engineer, I also have a high appreciation for the quality of HW design and overall ergonomic sophistication of Apple's products. So, in one sentence, it's kinda a choice between "Lamborghini on the Desktop" and a regular workhorse like Toyota Camry, metaphorically speaking...

There was a windows update that was supposed to help with some of the transitions.
There also seemed to be problems if language packs were installed after some updates.
Personally I see no added value in Windows 10 or Windows 8.x.
They don't work the way I do.
They may have pulugged some security holes they knew about for years but have now introduced a whole new breed ready for exploit.
