Quite a multiple of times it happens. I try to stop the page from loading and re-try my luck. It works with me, try it.

A couple of minutes ago, about the time you posted here, it was just awful. Now it seems fine again.

I just wanted to reply with:
I had that issue yesterday noon for about 10 minutes. Afterwards all was OK again with fast loading.
But there was a time out when hitting the post button.
Interestingly the number of users online shown on the top is quite low with this issue when getting a connection again.

Just had major outage - ISUP.ME couldn't find CP (Google Chrome reporting DNS problems), and RootAdmin was out as well.

As you may know (if you live in the UK, it's been all over the news for days) there is a solar eclipse in UK / some of Europe today: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-31965456[^]
And I look outside...and it's thick fog...
Never mind, it has a couple of hours to burn off.
Last time we had a total eclipse in the UK (1999) Herself and I chucked a tent on the bike and buggered off to Cornwall for a week to see it. Had a great time, except for the eclipse itself: it poured down, thick - total - cloud cover and you couldn't "see" it at all. Still spectacular though.
This time, we're in the 90% track, so if the fog lifts...
Any of you in the 100% band? On board a north sea drilling platform perhaps?

Cloudy here, too
Damn. I wanted it to power my crystal array, to turn my Led Zeppelin albums to gold.

Clear sky in Hamburg. 80% band here or so.
Maybe I should build a camera obscura.. do you guys have something to look safely at it?

The 100% track is going down closer to the middle of the Atlantic - here in Dublin we'll get 90% once the fog clears.

I am in the ... 68% band. But I saw the 1999 one at 100%, it was dark more than 40min
I don't have any glasses though, for we know about it since only 4 days ago, so everybody massively attempted to buy ones and the stock were soon empty.

Use anything as a Pinhole camera:
Even a colander can show you the image on a white wall - I'm using a simple hole to view, and there is a big chunk out of the sun here already.

Bright sunshine in the Midlands.
My daughter has been listening to teachers saying people go blind in eclipses, we'll all go out and watch, so is now too terrified to go to school this morning.

Don't look at the Sun, it's still dangerous even if only 10% is visible. The same goes for the Express and the Mail.

My old place would be in the 98% band.
The guys in the West of Shetlands area, Schiehallion, Foinavon or Clair Ridge for example will probably be close to the 100% if not in it.

Extremely cloudy here as well, but we can just about get a glimpse of the eclipse through them... Epic

Clear skies, sun in right direction - and by heck the temperature in the back garden dropped quickly, even in our ~90% band.
Herself watched it on TV "because the coverage was better"
