How can you be disinterested in people? They're useful and stuff.

Not really what I said, at all.

You said "just as", it's implied yo.

I was referring to the pictures, not the people!

Same difference man. Can't really be interested in people and not be interesting in seeing them.

You may know and even like some of these people.
People [^]
but do you really want to see their pictures?

I haven't changed my profile picture in nearly a decade, that's true. But I haven't changed in my appearance for nearly a decade and I still wear the same shirt and tie (I'll need to wash it soon).

Not sure what you mean, but I saw it and I like it (in a guy way). Just more fun making the Net a bit less anonymous ya know, like how our grandparents used to talk - to real people.

Yes! Although you're holding that chainsaw like a gun man. I won't ask.

Well, I finally realized the gun was just an added and unnecessary step when taking care of annoying neighbors, but muscle memory tends to linger for a while.

I update mine weekly.
But, since I don't appear on CCDs the dog behind me always ends up as my avatar.

I reckon you need to bring back your old profile pic. No, not that one, the other one. With the oil.
On a completely different note I've been tempted to introduce profile pics on the messages in the forums but...hesitated. Would it be encouraging to everyone, or...off-putting?

More to the point: would it take up any more screen real estate? If so, I'm against it for one!
