Battey's in general don't like 100% or anyother value for long periods. You try to tell non-EE people (marketing!) that they look at you like you are selling snake oil.

They last longest when stored at 40% of capacity. That is why everything you buy with lithium batteries comes charged to about that. Avoid storying batteries at elevated temperatures too. It is ok to freeze them, just warm them up before charging. Charging a frozen battery can destroy it.

My 2015 vintage Lenovo has battery management so I keep charge at around 55%. click of a button and it will charge full if you know travel is imminent. My new Dell work laptop also has Battery management. I have it also set to keep battery at 50% since it is plugged in and powered on 24/7 99% of the time.
If I am not traveling, I will cycle the battery down to about 20% and then charge it back up and run it back to 50% again maybe once every 6-8 weeks.

For some reason, "Laptop battery life" made me associate to a Duracell rabbit. Maybe that association is NSFW, thus not suited for the Lounge.

This is nothing new, however, I would ask for advise if I should even respond.
I am experiencing "weird behavior " of the tool...I believe I am being fair if I not "mention any names "...
So I posted some comments in "lounge"...
As a "response" unnamed person ( employee of the tool provider ) posted "statistical data " about what I posted , when I posted it etc.
Each item had a comment about me responding or not responding or participating in discussion etc.
In short, this person keeps detailed records about my posts in the forum.
I feel it is fine for him to do so, however , what is bothering me is - I cannot respond in same manner.
This is a clear case , IMHO, I am dammed if I do and dammed if I don't...
PS
In general, I do avoid contact with people who do not like my style...and expect I adapt their opinions / style etc. Life is too short to bother.

I attach little emotional response to responses on any social media site.
Just some of what I have seen over decades (not just here...)
- Some people are outright crazy (format of responses and not content suggested mental health problems.)
- Recognized leaders, even outside of social media, can be a**h****.
- Some people post responses that are factually incorrect and will not stand for correction. This includes conspiracy type theories but even just normal technological issues.
- Some people have hot topic positions. Normal person until certain points show up.
- Some people go directly to personal attacks when they are challenged in any way. Including wild accusations about the intent of someone else.
For many of the above it just amuses me. Especially the last. Makes me wonder what those that must interact with them face to face see.
If it didn't amuse me, if it made me sad, angry, etc, then I just wouldn't do it anymore.

I am still struggling with my idea to have uncluttered application , I am using menus.
You know - the menu window which kills ...tiles...cascade...etc forms on "desktop".
People keep asking me to post screen shot, but these "submenus" are of "pop-up: style, hence I cannot screenshot them using my "Screenshot"application = on Ubuntu..
Is there another Linux screen shot application I could use ?
