3 wrong choices for the first letter - same as me!

I just checked and there are 7 possibilities for the first letter, given the last 4.
So even if you got those 4 on line 1, you could still fail to get the word! 
[By the way, I don't consider this a spoiler, since anyone who reads this far into the replies must already have solved it or should be expecting to see 'hints'. Just seeing the diagrams gives almost as much info!]

Yep. Same problem! There were more possible words than guesses remaining after my 2nd word. So I decided to carry on "letter finding", rather than moving to "word guessing" mode - and managed to rule out another three possible letters with my 3rd try.
