That's probably valid for your rugby players as well.

Nothing wrong in liking another country anthem. (as much as it is tacky, the Kate Smith interpretation of God Bless America is kinda good)
I like the Canadian one.
It was originally in French (it was a french canadian patriotic song) , it's mostly sung in the 2 official languages.
It's also sometimes sung in both languages at some sport events, even in the USA, out of respect.

So I bought a nice new laptop (i9, 8 cores, 16 threads, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, etc) and in the last week Windows has updated numerous times, installing BS like Solitaire games, Disney+, etc.
And every time, it reboots. OK, maybe rebooting in the middle of the night is OK, but I just got home (4:45 PM) from running an errand and it rebooted, of course all my VS projects closed, SSMS closed, etc.
I don't want to install a Windows Update blocker, but MickeySoft leaves me no choice - I want to pick up from where I left off, whether it's the next morning or an hour later during the work day.
And I don't want all those BS Play Store Apps it seems to think I want!
So f*** it, blocker installed. I'll do updates on "my schedule."

Interesting. Neither my Win10 desktop, or my Win 11 Surface do that - they update what is "needed" but don't install Store apps.
And to the bets of my knowledge I haven't changed any settings to do that ...

I just purchased a new Dell XPS 17 (64G RAM, I9 processor, 1TB SSD). Won't arrive for a few weeks, so I am interested in hearing more comments on Win11 upgrade.
It comes with Win10 installed, but includes a Win11 license as well.
It might be I wait on that upgrade and stay with Win10 a bit longer...

I use Windows 10 Pro, and have never seen installation of unwanted MS Store apps. I can imagine MS doing this for Windows Home (AKA Beta Edition), but not for Windows Pro.

Sounds like Windows Home. Windows Pro doesn't do this.
