I'm guessing you're thinking javascript but yes, I'd be interested.

I already told you about my dream of automatically generating the Table of Contents for an article, didn't I?

That sounds great - However, I want one with JavaScript which can be used directly in the Article Editor.

Definitely, I'm interested in something like this being established. I cart my little code segments from one job to the next as I'm sure my fellow developers do. It would be fantastic to compare how I'm approaching a common problem with other solutions. And yes, before you ask - on occasion, I live on this site.

This sort of raises two things
First is just a set of tools to use (as I was suggesting) that are more about "where can I find a tool to quickly do X'.
The second is about "where can I stash my code snippets". This is a slightly different exercise - but definitely something that is also easy to add if there's demand.

Ah - fair enough. I'm voting for the first thing. With regard to "stashing code snippets", not so much. I was thinking of something more collaborative. Upon review, this site already does this, I think.

Seems like GitHub is more set up for collaborative snippets, but I don't use that hippie crap.

I think a link to a set of existing online tools vetted by the CP community would be more helpful. There are several top-notch free online tools available and it would be nice to have a central CP link through which to access them.

I think this would be nice, but there are already this kind of lists (from respectable developers) somewhere else.

I am thinking of doing a HTML5 canvas tool for drawing simple diagram for article. The arrow tool in Paint and Paint.Net does not have the type of arrow I want to draw.

So (in an unrelated, yet tangential story )
I was playing with my 2.5 year old son - and he put a towel over his head pretending to be a Ghost.
So in that way 2 and a half year olds talk - he ran around going "woooooo I'm a teary ghost"
Ahem he meant of course he was a "Scary Ghost". But it was cute as all heck
So, being a kiwi - I gave him a rugby ball and told him to harden up and practice his off hand spiral pass. "You've poms to smash when you get older".

then I showed him google and we sat down and found out that 2.5 year olds dont need to work.
Then we discovered that Kiwis in Australia have a lower unemployment rate than those born here and that they earn on average more.
Then we learnt about the disparities between how NZ treats Australians vs how Australia treats kiwis.

Then he remembered he was born here and is mum is a citizen so we buggered off for icecream.

It seems that every time I turn around there is a child handing me a toy. The response is always the same. No thanks I don't want it.
Over Christmas my mother outlaw handed me a Barbie doll and just look at me without an expression, so I thought quickly, she stuffing with me, I'll fix her, so I rip up Barbie dress and closely check out her under wear, without thinking I came up with, now I know why Ken seams gay, Barbie has a bulge?
