So I am tired of carrying two cell phones and am considering a dual-sim solution. The little thingies seem to be still uncommon for the moment, though. After going through reviews, I think I will opt for an ACER liquid E2 Duo. Does anyone have experience with that phone, or any advice about another good dual-sim phone ?
Thanks !

If you're using both at the same time then you're fraked. For many years, I had two phones as the options for dual SIM where just not worth the cost. Now I only have two numbers but never use both, so one phone and I swap as I travel between here and Teshland.

It is more for pro vs. private (this also implies two different countries/providers for me). Two chargers, two phones I have to think about, etc.. is simply rubbish. Even from a mere environmental point of view, having two phones is just plain nonsense.
There are indeed passive dual-sim (= use one SIM at a time) solutions now, even if the best dual sim phones are not available in France. Active dual-sim (= use both sims at the same time) is still nowhere near. At least, you do not need to switch off the phone for switching from one SIM to the other, even with passive technology.
Anyway, I'll give it a try.

I'd go with two phones. Mrs Wife runs two Samsungs and they all have the same charger.

Well, no, this is a media enhancer for a normal phone. I was aiming at dual-sim.

I use a dual-sim Huawei Ascend G330. Two micro-sim card slots under the battery. Card 1 runs 3G, the other the lessor gsm. got it on flea-bay from China for £100 last year. Works well - both cards are active at the same time, however, only one can be used to take/make a call etc at the one time. I got it as I was pained carrying two phones. One card is personal, the other business.

Well, you are a novel mystery to me Dave, but a book would not surprise me given your cunning linguistic abilities, and I'd look forward to reading it, homicides, or no homicides.
