It was raining this morning, but the dog still needs to be emptied.
Please note I was in the kitchen enjoying a nice cup of tea at the time.

Roasted sheep does not like rain! It's a fact!

I'm not sure that your dog has any problem with rain - but sure he likes tea...

The dog lives in England! He should be used to rain by now.

My dog has been chasing pigeons around the back garden in the rain and is now snoring away on my legs soaking my clothes. So that is good of him.

Mine do that, they seem to think that my legs are mobile towels, literally rubbing themselves against me to get dry.
What really gets me is how happy they look while they are doing it! They gaze up at me with a look of sheer delight, getting themselves dry while I am getting soggier and soggier!
Pets eh? Who'd have em?

If it's any consolation, Dij the Cat goes out, gets soaked, and insists I dry him (or he sits on my computer, directly above the processor, to drip-dry.
So, I keep a stock of cotton gloves on my desk for that purpose. And old tea towels for bad cases.
And when I am done, if it isn't to his satisfaction he slaps my feet as I walk away...
The latest wrinkle is he walks off - as if happy - then slaps my feet for more when I turn round.
And then, nice and dry, he goes back out and gets soaked again.
