Are you suggesting that your boss is a pimp?
Because that would make you...I'm not going there, and I don't think you should either!

Explains a lot: I'm guessing it's so that it bounces in a straight line. Looking at the players, I think their heads might explode if they had to deal with a real ball bouncing!
Apparently, they aren't supposed to use their hands to control it either - but that doesn't seem to stop them all.

My understanding is that if you are a god[^] you can use your hands in football.

When Association Football was being codified the original draft of the rules by the FA included
Quote: IX. A player shall be entitled to run with the ball towards his adversaries' goal if he makes a fair catch, or catches the ball on the first bound; but in case of a fair catch, if he makes his mark he shall not run.
this was only removed from the laws at the fifth meeting to draw them up.

And I do not believe you! The World of Warcraft World Cup has no ball (in game), or so I am told. What other world cup could you be talking about that is of significance for non Nederland supporters?

When I see how the players react when they are hit in the leg, it makes me think its with sharp edges and spikes all over.

When Association Football was being codified the original draft of the rules by the FA included
Quote: X. If any player shall run with the ball towards his adversaries' goal, any player on the opposite side shall be at liberty to charge, hold, trip or hack him, or to wrest the ball from him, but no player shall be held and hacked at the same time.
this was the most contentious rule to be dropped with the FA's first treasurer saying "hacking is the true football" and resigning from the organisation when it was removed.

I program as a hobby (using VS12) and I have an entertaining program I would like to share. Trouble is I am not a "verified programmer". How do I become one? I would also like to share the source code. It has all kinds of goodies I'd love to discuss. To get an idea of what it does, go to my web site

and click on the *.jpg file.

You don't need to be a verified programmer just certifiable.
If you have a look at this http://www.codeproject.com/info/Submit.aspx[^] it should give you enough to go to the next step.
Anything that may be of interest to other programmers put together into a coherent form is suitable I would think.

I suggest that you start by not making your first post since you joined (three years ago) so closely resemble spam...
Then write an article on it: that allows you to share discussions about how it works, as well as the source code.
http://www.codeproject.com/script/Articles/Submit.aspx[^]
But I'd edit your message and take out the site link, before it starts picking up "spammer" votes which could risk your account.

I got MSDN from my company, so I got it...
But another friend doesN'T have MSDN account from his company... So he doesN'T have VS2013!
(For his personal use I mean)
MSDN is a bit prohibitively priced for hobbby purpose...
Seeing as VS is tied to one's MSDN account, I wonder how one got to have VS2013 at home?!
(when one doesn't have an MSDN account from one's company, that is!)
