And this is why we're using Node now. The cruft and heft has gone - setting up the web server and scaling it out is incredibly simple.

Ah, okay Marc, fair dinkum as my Oz friend would say; you are, after all, flying your own dirigible here.
But, some of use mere mortals ... well, we need to go to the playground and use safety-swings
Merry Xmas, Bill
p.s. I got a quick response from someone at JQWidgets ... a good sign ... and will remove my message if it turns out I did the wrong thing, which I'll figure out tomorrow (GMT+7).

Damned! It was indeed an easy one, but like almost all of them, I couldn't solve this one either..

As I'm nearing my 0x3C birthday, I thought I'd share with you youngsters something an elder friend told me recently. It may help as you grow older...
I'm getting on in years and probably not the best looking guy anymore. Some would even say I'm a little frayed around the edges. But, I have a nice car, a little money, and I spend most of my time casually traveling from place to place and enjoying life.
I met a nice looking girl in a park the other evening. There was an instant spark between us. All of a sudden, she did this cute little dance, then immediately dropped to her knees and lay on the grass at my feet. As we lay there making love, I thought--- "Wow, these Taser Guns are really worth the money!!"

Sorry Roger, not funny. I would vote you down if I could. Am thinking about marking your post as abusive though.

I'm apologize if it offends you, Pete. Personally, I find most things that are politically incorrect terribly humorous, if the joke is taken as meant - an example of absurdity or illustration of a stupid idea. I always have, and always will lampoon stupid attitudes through humor, and that often leads to tasteless jokes.

Which may be the origin of "egg on your face" ? [1]
[1] The late literary critic and scholar John Ciardi suggested "egg on your face" originated in the rough-and-tumble of cheap-ticket comedy shows where comedians were often pelted with eggs, and whatever produce was handy.

I just do not find jokes about sexual assault very funny. I have lots of women in my life that I care about, some who have been assaulted, and I know the pain it causes even years after the fact.

Not a side splitter (they are few and far between except for the Q&A) but there is a certain irony. Doesn't cross the line for me.
