Well, I am now starting the day off with doing something correct. Time to go back home and call it a day before my luck runs out.

Why? It's wonderful stuff, provided one of two conditions apply:
1) It arrives early Christmas Morning, and has all melted by Boxing Day,
Or
2) It occurs to people a considerable distance away.
Both is also fine.

Clear skies, sun in right direction - and by heck the temperature in the back garden dropped quickly, even in our ~90% band.

We also experienced the temperature drop (I am in the 68% band). People who came out regularly also said it went a bit darker.

Got a good view - cloud cover was just enough for it to come through.
Flippin' cold and the birds have gone quiet. Have some flowers (weeds!) in the garden that close up at night and they're shut tight

Our office has one wall which is essentially a massive window. I sit right in front of that window. It gave me a perfect view of FA. My colleague was wearing a Welding Mask. Quite a surreal experience really.
