"Project" the noun? Or "project" the verb?

This, I think, is why that word doesn't feel right there...

Dunno. They say it rains every day in Blaenau Ffestiniog (it certainly has every time I've been there!) so it seems a little strange that 80 days is the official record!
I am not a number. I am a ... no, wait!

The one common factor of all those clips was vodka. Lots and lots of vodka. I have drunk vodka 'a la Ruse' and it was not a pretty sight. Or to be precise, the young Hungarian who thought he could teach me a lesson vis-a-vis drinking vodka was not a pretty sight.

Don't know if its true but Vodka means something like water of life (or death in this case! )

|
|

You're thinking of Whisky (Uisce beatha), vodka is a diminutive form of voda, or "little water"

I was told, by the 20 something eejit that being British I could hold my drink. We went 'shot for shot' on vodka; Stoli or something.
As we got about a 1/2 of the way into the second bottle my foe was over come by emotions and extreme tiredness; or as some may call it a China Crisis. I finished the bottle happily and left the bill for him to pick up the following evening.

Laughing my ass/arse off. What a way to start the day.
Some of the clips were hard to watch. I'm sure they were very painful.

edit: yes, I'm sure you are spot on about the Vodka.

I'll see your paltry 7 minute video, and raise you 59 minutes of Russian dash-cam footage[^].

Finally BT have connected the phone and broad band to my parents which means I am now back to tech support for them but need a wifi booster to connect one PC to the net
|
|
|
|
|
Is being tech support cause for celebration?
BT actually doing something probably is, though, so we should mark this date in our calendar. We shall remember this day as the day BT bothered.
Er, I can't think of a funny signature right now.
How about a good fart to break the silence?

I was more shocked than anything else! A BT Tech. who knew how to wire a phone socket!!
