That's a right sunshine.
Sorry to hear that - hope you can find something else quickly?
Are you going to get a decent redundancy package, or are they throwing you just the statutory minimum?

Package is good seeing as it's a US company. one month tax-free for every year service. Plus I think I'll be in the team that ensures everything gets transitioned smoothly and I believe there's an extra bonus based on the successful completion of that.

That's something at least - it'll pay the mortgage for a time while you find another job.
Much work round there these days?

Haven't got a clue. There's only one thing I hate more than writing a CV....and that's attending a Job Interview.
I have the option (it's not) of relocating to Guadalajara. 5 lucky people have the chance of relocating to Colorado (would have definitely considered that one).

Anyway it's partly your fault for banging on about how much better SSD's are.

They just didn't jump on 'em early enough...

Chairlift - Bruises[^]
One of my favorite songs ever.
Got stuck in my head this week and I've been listening to it daily
Quite catchy.
Just watch out you don't fall for it and bruise your knees

Bookmarked yet again.
But my sounds of the week, at least this week are going to happen today in the evening.
I'm seeing God Is An Astronaut for the third time, today.
For those who don't know them, this video/song has got me into them.

Very nice. I came across them not long ago

I like that song. I usually listen to that kind of music when I'm driving or want to chill
But my song for the week would be "slither" by velvet revolver. Kinda into rock/metal/grunge

Why is that every song you post here sounds like a direct rip-off of something else?
You should look for a Cure, no matter how much you Love Cats

Because everything sounds like a rip-off if you want it to?
