How do you read?
Paul VERLAINE: ŐSZI CHANSON
Ősz húrja zsong,
jajong, busong
a tájon,
s ont monoton
bút konokon
és fájón.
S én csüggeteg,
halvány beteg,
mig éjfél
kong, csak sirok,
s elém a sok
tűnt kéj kél.
Óh, múlni már,
ősz! húllni már,
eresszél!
Mint holt avart,
mit felkavart
a rossz szél...

Criminal of the Day
Quote: KRISTINA Berezovska, 30, of Havelock Road, Derby, was given a six-month jail sentence, suspended for 12 months, for stealing flip flops from the 99p Store in Normanton on May 4. She must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
A 99p Store does exactly what it says on the tin, everything costs 99 pence.
Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

I believe that was the aim of the bloke who started the chain, simply to undercut poundland and let that fact do his advertising for him.
Chain is growing very quickly, I think we may have one in Lichfield now although as there is almost nothing in the city centre but bars, cafes and charity shops these days it is not somewhere I go when needing to buy anything.

Same with all city centres, and most towns too.
The local town has a centre with shops still - but they are dying slowly as well.

Maybe she simply wanted to try them out in peace and quiet at home before deciding if she wanted to pay such a humungous price. Surely, she would either have brought them back or paid for them at a later date?!?!?

Rolf Harris: 5 years 9 months = 69 Months for touching up under-age girls.
Something is wrong with the sentencing here, Jake the Peg's crimes have a money-equivalent value of about £11.40

stepped on one of those penny scales that tell you your fortune and weight and dropped in a coin.
"Listen to this," he said to his wife, showing her a small, white card.
"It says I'm energetic, bright, resourceful and a great person."
"Yeah," his wife nodded,
"and it has your weight wrong, too."
