Arkham Asylum has really got it's act together
How do you know so much about swallows? Well, you have to know these things when you're a king, you know.

Toast AND Bacon Sarnies?
Is not one serving of bread enough?
Perhaps you could combine them into toasted bacon sarnies and be increasingly efficient in your petit déjeuner?

2 slices of toast with butter and orange marmalade + 1 (sometimes 2) bacon sandwiches. That is my daily 9am breakfast
Too busy in the morning to go to the galley first thing in the day for official breakfast. I'm up at 5:15 and have my first meeting at 5:45, then get permits issued and prepare for the onshore management call at 8am.

It is free

Then clearly I'm either in the wrong job or working for the wrong company.
We only get free coffee all day long, and since it's free I make sure I get my 9 cups a day !

The downside is you have to work on a small platform in the middle of the North Sea, and you get worked like a dog when you're out there, if my impression of oil/gas engineering work is accurate.

Now let's address the real issue - Brown sauce (king of meat-covering condiments) or ketchup (slightly tangy red substance used to mask the taste of processed foods)?
|
|
|
|
|
Neither....normally. However occassionally Heinz Ketchup, not the stuff that tastes like battery acid.

Red Sauce to be used on Fish Finger Sandwiches
Brown Sauce to be used on Everything Else.

Nah - Red Sauce goes with Yellow Sauce when assembling burgers.
Fish Finger Sandwiches go with Bin.

What are you, some kind of communist or heathen?
Fish Finger Sandwiches with Red Sauce is ambrosia steeped in nectar, it is the food of the gods!

I'm both a communist (in your terms - i.e. to the left of Thatcher) and heathen don't blame OG's disdain for the food of the people on that

Wait what, not my ideal choice but what's wrong with a fish finger sandwich?

If you're playing that game I'm not sure you want to eat commercial burgers either ...

"The East, say, is where one could make a killing on the stock."(6,7)
This is quite hard I think.

I think it may be Orient Express but I'm really struggling to work out how .
The east = Orient
the stock could be rolling stock?
you could make a killing there according to Agatha Christie.
possibly the express bit comes from expires (killed?) with the i (One) removed and another s acquired from somewhere?
Grasping at straws ...

Remarkably close...
The East - Orient
Say - ?
And indeed, it is the rolling stock on which there could be murder!
