Won't be the same without Clarkson. I know Evans is a serious petrol-head but he is not Clarkson. They might be better of to scrap Top Gear and come out with a new name and show that he can front without everyone comparing him to Clarkson.

"Third Gear".. they can show it on BBC3
How do you know so much about swallows? Well, you have to know these things when you're a king, you know.

*yes, yes, I know, moving it to online only.
Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

I'm guessing JK will be a guest pretty soon - car nut and friend of Chris Evans.

Agree the sentiment about Piers, but the analogy about clubbing little seals No. No. No.

He has what we call locally "Bat Face".
This means the kind of person who would be vastly improved by a forceful baseball bat to the face, repeatedly.
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

I've done it before, but why not again.
Does the word heinous rhyme with penis or anus?

Ummm... I see that you have been posting nonsense messages all over. You should be nervous.
If you want to introduce yourself, you might have a better impact if you simply posted a brief introduction in the Lounge, but that could go very wrong very quickly too.

A 40 inch (101.6 cm) Toshiba TV at 1080p.
CP Looks AWESOME on it.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

Monitors as TVs ain't all that great. Mine (an LG 40" 4K TV) won't go to sleep like a regular monitor would; when the computer goes to sleep, the TV displays "No signal" and won't turn off - so I constantly have to manually power it on/off. And then when it's powered back on, Windows goes through the routine of redetecting it, which takes around 20 seconds and tends to mess up the layout.
That being said, I'm not giving up my 4K display because of these drawbacks.
And for anyone curious: 40" is about the smallest display I'd want for native 4K (without rescaling) - any smaller, and fonts would simply be too small to read without squinting. Those 28" 4K monitors that seem to be popular right now are just ridiculous.

This one has a PC mode, so when the PC goes to sleep, the TV does as well, and when the PC wakes up, so does the TV. No redetection needed.
The TV was a gift from my uncle.

I know it can be turned on and off, but I can't find that setting. The menu on this thing goes 15 or more levels deep in some places!

I obtained my passport 8 or 9 years ago.
It expires next year.
Which is smarter ?
- Renew now while there's lots of time
- Renew when the time is up

Always keep some buffer time for any late moment surprises.
