I don't mean honor as acting justly but as...I guess esteem/respect in the eyes of everyone else? The opposite of being mocked. Very different from our Western morality of innocence and guilt.
Trump's rhetoric of deriding is opponents is an attempt to shame them thereby gaining more honor for himself

Probably. But then, Ms. Clinton did the same, and in my opinion, perhaps because I loath her more than Trump, she did so with the type of labeling and name-calling that demonized his character. The media took up the narrative and spread it around so that everyone demonized him, to the point where we now have Democrats and immigrants freaking out, irrationally thinking he's going to either destroy America or deport all immigrants, or both. With the exception of the few conservative media outlets, the media did not take up his derisive comments against Hillary or others, expect as "proof" of Hillary's narrative.

That's an interesting take, but I'd have to disagree.
Hillary is honorless, hateful, and criminal. You can't remove something that's not there. That is precisely the reason that so many people voted against her.

Honor in the sense I'm talking about isn't a personal moral state but something that is perceived by everyone else. And regardless of whether of your or my opinions of her, there are many people that perceive her as good and just and whatnot.

And regardless of your or my opinion of Trump, comparing the position given by one of his supporters to ISIS is meant to be demeaning.
Trying to mince words in order to back up that comparison is not the right thing to do, which is very much what this feels like.

Actually, it's not funny; it's just human.
Let's go with "Everyone blames someone else for their problems".
So, because I don't wish to appear to be too inhuman, I'm laying the blame for all my problems at your feet!

Well sure, 'tis human nature. What I find sad is that people don't realize it. Then again, the reason I'm not married is because women are crazy (joking).

I'm not in the mood to argue. Maybe you are, but I find that life is more enjoyable when you don't always argue with people who find too much joy in arguing and no joy in nothing else. Further more, everyone knows the church plus state thing has more to do with forced practices. Nobody is forcing you to say that. We also have freedom of speech. Which means I can say it. And furthermore, anyone who is any way in any form educated in more modern studies regarding spirituality know that God can mean different things to different people, which means even the non-religious (traditionally speaking) can use it.
My point is, dude... don't always argue.

Who's arguing? I'm just sticking firecrackers in holes, because it's more fun (and Way more sensible) than taking any of this seriously.
I.e. this is yet another transient event that we (especially those of us who aren't USAian) won't even think about in a few years' time, so just have fun with it.
Life is full of such dramatically important events, which, when you stop thinking emotionally and/or irrationally, you realise aren't really dramatic or important to you, after all.
Yet another game of men chasing balls around a field was won by some team? Pfft.
Yet another lying jerk won an election between lying jerks? Meh.

"unbelievable political reversal" ?
How about "putsurschitprise," a portmanteau of "putsch," "surprise," and "s**t" ?
I'm hunkering down here at latitude 18.7, taking sanctuary in poetry for the next four years; my friends did warn me:
Yeats: "The Second Coming"
“And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?”
Blake: "The Four Zoas: Night the Eighth"
“All futurity seems teeming with endless destruction never to be repelled; Desperate remorse swallows the present in a quenchless rage.”
Jorge Borges: "Selected Non-Fictions"
“A writer, or any man, must believe that whatever happens to him is an instrument; everything has been given for an end. This is even stronger in the case of the artist. Everything that happens, including humiliations, embarrassments, misfortunes, all has been given like clay, like material for one’s art. One must accept it. For this reason I speak in a poem of the ancient food of heroes: humiliation, unhappiness, discord. Those things are given to us to transform, so that we may make from the miserable circumstances of our lives things that are eternal, or aspire to be so.”
with love, from Tralfamadore, Billy Pilgrim
«There is a spectrum, from "clearly desirable behaviour," to "possibly dodgy behavior that still makes some sense," to "clearly undesirable behavior." We try to make the latter into warnings or, better, errors. But stuff that is in the middle category you don’t want to restrict unless there is a clear way to work around it.» Eric Lippert, May 14, 2008
