Microsoft initially tested Windows 11 naggings with a smaller group of Windows 10 users, mostly those with Home License, but some Pro and Business users also observed the alerts. By 'feedback', they mean 'torches and pitchforks'

Even as AI reshapes the hiring and skills landscape, the technology itself will eventually be embedded in all digital tools, says Ken Englund, who leads Ernst & Young's Americas Technology Growth sector. So workers need to learn now how to use it — or pay later. I have to wait that long?

A recent study has found that 94% of spreadsheets used in business decision-making contain errors, posing serious risks for financial losses and operational mistakes. It's not like businesses use them to make important decisions or anything

Additionally... how many managers in decision-making positions do erros that are serious risks for financial losses and operational mistakes?

This update focuses on providing fantastic developer experiences for working with .NET 9 projects and new AI productivity features, along with continues improvements all-around. You can't spell Visual Studio without new stuff you don't want
".NET 9 elevates cloud-native and intelligent app development, focusing on productivity enhancements, streamlined deployments, and accelerated AI integration, ensuring superior performance for developers across various applications." <-- This post brought to you by marketing. It's getting harder to land a job these days, which is why a lot of candidates are turning to generative AI for help. But this shortcut may be backfiring as overwhelmed recruiters get swamped with low-quality, robot-written submissions. 75% processed by AI recruiting tools

Are they many or any programming languages that are not English based? Maybe they should use one of those to build the next AI.

Every machine in my company is BitLocker encrypted and we didn't have any instances of this issue occur. I wonder if the issue is that there was a BIOS update for some manufacturers that wasn't flagged properly in the July updates.

There are a lot of zany manufacturers out there. It's always been Windows' worst problem (and what Apple avoids so it seems 'better' at these things)

With the Start menu being at the heart of Windows, it is vital that it functions in a way that makes sense to people. Sadly, this has not always been the case. People look for stuff to run on the Start menu?
I guess I end up doing it every few weeks, but mostly I try to ignore it
