Bad headline - this isn't a Windows or Linux issue. This is a hardware manufacturer issue. I wonder if that's why all our Dells have recently received updated BIOS packages.

A man in Washington, D.C. last month was the victim of an armed robbery in which the thieves stole “everything he had in his pockets,” including his car keys and smartphone. That has to go in the next advertising campaign

And the car was returned too: it has a gear stick.
Oh sanctissimi Wilhelmus, Theodorus, et Fredericus!

They probably couldn't drive it away; how many thieves learn to drive manual shift?
(If they even bother getting a licence)

In the dynamic landscape of database development, SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) is a powerful tool for database developers in the Visual Studio ecosystem. Into every life, a little (or a lot) data must fall

You better ask if it is okay with SQL to embrace SQL, otherwise you may be getting a call from HR.
I’ve given up trying to be calm. However, I am open to feeling slightly less agitated.

Amazon is the latest company to open up about Microsoft's unfair cloud computing practices and has told the UK's Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) that Microsoft's practices prevent customers from switching to rivals. We want our monopoly back!

Where's Oracle? Haven't heard much about that tail of the devil lately - don't they want to get in on fleecing people?

In other words, Amazon wants Microsoft to fine tune Office 365 to run on AWS, and they want it done for free.

Microsoft isn’t extending the support period for Windows 10, so consumers will need to pay for key security patches or upgrade their OS. Insert 25 cents to continue with your OS
Although I'm guessing it will be "significantly higher" than 25 cents.

I haven't heard of new boot sector viruses for years. I think that the market for new virus signatures for Win95 viruses is rather small, too. So why don't you all switch to Win11, leaving me alone with Win10. Noone is going to develop a virus for my machine only!
