I did mark my message as a rant, and added an "unimpressed" emoji. My opinion of non-compete agreements is that they encourage wage-slavery by making it difficult to impossible to change jobs. It is in this sense that the South is rising again. 
As for the problems we have in Israel, a history of more than 3,500 years gives one perspective. We've come through hard times in the past, and I expect we'll do it again this time.

I don't think this is good. I'm all for right to repair.
I just don't see how anyone but the consumer soaks up the cost of "right to break it before sending it in under warranty".
The finish line here seems to be that we'll get no warranty. If something isn't defective at purchase, it'll just be our problem.
