If you want to 'revitalize Windows,' bring back the full Win2000 interface, including the menus and aero experience... I'd figure out a way to pay for a true copy, and not the 'subscription' model.

Slack reveals it has been training AI/ML models on customer data, including messages, files and usage information. It’s opt-in by default. Now the AIs will be going on and on about how awful work is, while playing online games

Here's hoping someone at Microsoft will send this to the European Commission as this is a blatant violation of GDPR. Slack/SalesForce has sued Microsoft in the EC over Teams and this could easily be used to return the favor.

Using a virtual machine, Parker set up a Windows XP instance and configured it to be fully exposed with no firewall and no anti-virus software, just like the good old days. So, just like Windows 11?

This guy must have set up a Windows XP RTM system. XP SP2 and SP3 automatically turned on the firewall during installation and the XP ISOs I have have SP3 embedded.
Bottom line, don't let some "gamer" configure your system.
