Apllication users are disconnected from SQL Server 2008

Hello,
We have sql server 2008 running on windows server 2003. Single Database is there on server. Approx size is 9 GB of mdf & 13 GB of .ldf file.
The issue reported by users is that when few ( 5-10 ) users try to access the applciation simultaineoulsy, they get disconnected.
But this does not happen when 1-2 users are logged in apllciation.

How can I find that thsi is the SQL server Problem or a Web server problem? I am concerned about the SQL server problem only.

I observer that out of 129 GB diskspace only 2.3 GB is free. Could this be the cause of problem ?

I would monitor the disk free but did you check the event viewer? is there anything on sql in it? also there are logs on sql check them as well. what errors do you program get? they must get some error? If all else fails I would run the sql tools to find out what is happening? is it always the same users or amount of users that start to get the error?
