An error occured on the server when processing the URL

Hi All,

I have a web application which has both asp and aspx pages in visual studio 2010 and dotnet framework 3.5

On startup Default.aspx is called and it is redirect to default.asp

on running the application I am getting below message
An error occured on the server when processing the URL. Please contact the system administrator.

The above message is suggesting to go to a link
"Running claiis asp application on IIS7 and IIS8"

I am not able to figure it out how to resolve.

I would appreciate and thank you to help me to resolve this issue.

Actually we need to do few settings in IIS 7 or 8 to support classic ASP.
