I want to know how the Menu Expander works in Asp.Net ,how to design it in CSS ?

I want the Menu to be expanded horizontally by clicking the menu icon (any icon) .please guide me....

If you use bootstrap lilbrary, you can easily implement it.

Thanks David, But I am looking for an menu opens like in mozilla firefox top right corner and in chrome if u loook it displays setting tab like that I want the Menu control.
