Simple way you should to learn basic syntaxes and keyword (i.e datatypes , loops , if conditions , conditional operators etc.) for this you need to buy or search online basic books
after that
start some practice with small programs like calender , prime number's etc. by using basic books or you can take examples from other then java books like let us c or more
