Help me interface stepper motor with parallel port

Hello my friends the members of the code project dear. I need your help to understand how to interface six wire stepper motor with parallel port. The motor requires 5V and 1 Amp to work.

Solution 1

I doubt that your parallel port provides one amp of power. I expect you'd need a controller that takes the power from the parallel port, and uses that to control a one amp power supply.
