why we use xmlns:asp="#unknown" i am not clear...

i ask to google uncle its not given proper answer if u know kindly tell me

We don't use xmlns:asp in ScriptManager or UpdatePanel control. This is not required at all. This comes when we paste some code in www.codeproject.com, a type of formatting issue. So I think you noticed it somewhere only on codeproject.com.
