I want to pull a prank on one of my co-workers where on startup, the screen is blue and it says "The Microsoft Has You" a bit like in the Matrix. Only problem is, they can get out using Ctrl.alt.del, alt.tab, alt.enter and alt.escape. How can I get rid of these keystrokes in VB6 in XP, Vista and 7?

crtl-alt-del: cannot get rid of (short of writing a device driver).
Others: quite complicated, and certainly not in VB6.

What is it with you people, that you always want to write software that goes against the end-user wishes and annoys the hell out of everyone. When you come for advice on forum like this, you're expected to be willing to learn how to write quality software which solves real-world problems.
It's people like you that give the profession a bad name.
Now go and play outside and ask your facebook friends how to perfect your idiot skills.

Not sure it is possible any more.

Used to work in older versions of Windows, (You could trick it into thinking a screen saver was running), but I am pretty sure this was corrected in XP.

Also, even if it were poss, why do it in VB6? Why do anything in VB6?

Unsupported and unloved, everyone else is in .NET, so upgrade young man!
