Pls tell me how asp.net C# project run on server ..

Anyone can tell me how asp.net project run on server.i had tried many times but no response. iam follow the following step.

First install IIS in system
then put my website folder in wwwroot folder.
then go to RUN-->inetmgr & find my website folder a right hand site window pages will display. when i click the pages and click on Browse.
the page is display but control are not visible .. like hyperlink ,textbox are not visible on my page..
pls give the proper solutions..

i had also make a virtual directory but when i put address to internet explore they show page can not be displayed...

if anyone can tell run asp.net project through IP Address so that iam making my computer to server through IP Address that every computer take my IP address and run my project..

pls tell me i struck this problem.....pls help me

Solution 1

Hi Mohit try to create the MSI of your application. Create new project of type setup and install that. i hope that will solve your problem.

First build the project without any error now publish it using the publish option of VS2005 .It will run the project. :-D
