At the OP's request, I will go ahead and post an alternative using BookMarks that does allow using keyboard shortcuts to quickly "jump around" in any open edit document where you have inserted BookMarks, and across documents to BookMarks in other Forms, or whatever.
First, you can see, if you examine the 'Edit/BookMarks sub-menu in Visual Studio, that there are built-in Keyboardshortcuts for adding/removing (Toggle) a BookMark, and navigating to the next BookMark, or Previous BookMark.
I have found it convenient to change these from their current (imho "complex") key-combinations to the following:
Toggle BookMark Alt + t
[1]
Next BookMark Alt + down-arrow
Previous BookMark Alt + up-arrow
To understand how to re-define the shortcut keys for the Visual Studio Text Editor, see: [
^].
[1] I would have used Alt + b for 'Toggle, but Alt + b is reserved for dropping-down the 'Build Menu, and I didn't want to change that (not that I ever use it).
