how to create payroll web application in asp.net using c#

Hi guys,

I have crated some applications in asp.net using c#,

I individually handle whole project, means: design, coding, database design, writing stored procedures, views, etc., etc.,

But today i got a requirement to create PAYROLL system.

N i dont have any idea how to deal with it.

Could anybody plzzzz suggest me, how to start.

I am pretty sure this is out of the scope of this site. And I am pretty sure it is out of your scope too. Such applications are really complex and need to conform with at least the local legislation. I suggest you don't get involved in such a project on your own.

I would add that unless you are planning on building a payroll application as a product to sell, there is no point in custom building one for internal use.

There is no strategic advantage to be gained by building, as opposed to buying.

There ought to be off the shelf products you can purchase that do this.

As Zoltan mentioned, there are local legislation rules in place, tax laws, annual leave, sick leave, other benefits - all this needs to be be taken into account.

These regulations are also constantly changing, so if you build a system yourself, you will have to invest in maintaining it each time the rules change. Where I am, these rules change each and every year.
