SQL server drop command

Hi,
I dropped a table in SQL server 2008 R2 by mistake.Is there any possible way to retrieve the table.Restoring the database using the .bak file seems to be a big process since the size of the .bak file is too large.Also is it possible to raise error /provide warning when executing the DROP statements in a database even when a user is given permissions? Kindly help in this regard.

Do you expect an undo function for this (dropping a table)? Think about what this would mean. Ok, I agree, it would be very comfortable, but it is also very unrealistic :)

Solution 2

U need to make a new database with different name and restore the .bak file into that database. Now from there only export that table which u have deleted previously. Drop the new database and your problem will be solved.
