Run your project on PHP v3 and see what doesn't work, then fix it.

Do you really think it worth the effort? It's 3, not even 4... :-)

Probably not...

1 solution

Instead of downgrading your PHP, upgrade to another ISP.

PHP 3 has been deprecated, is no longer supported, and probably has many security vulnerabilities.

Exactly, a 5. (Not ISP though, but Web hosting provider.)
By my observations, if some Web hosting provider provides only PHP 4 or earlier version, it's a clear sign that those people cannot be trusted. I even tried to talk to such people (mind you, many years ago, event than even PHP 4 was obsolete), only to find out that they are idiots. The case of the hosting provider pushing to use PHP 3 is simply clinical.

If I am not wrong the guy in the question said PHP 5.25 and we are discussing PHP 3 which is been obsolete years ago. :)
