Code to select all lines in AutoCAD-drawing using VB.NET

Hi.

I got the code to draw a line. But now I have to use selection check on those lines.
Before drawing the line, I have to check whether a line is already drawn in that particular position and if not, then I have to draw the line. I have to use selection check, but I dont know how to use it.
Please help me out.
