Video chat in c# in windows form

i am doing a project of socket programming in c# now i want to add the feature of video chat to my application
iam thinking about capturing the video from my webcam and convert each frame into bmp and send over the socket but i belive this is not a efficient way and will use lots of resource so i want any idea of doing video chat using some other technique and i also need idea on how to send voice over
