android send request to server on lock open

i have a activity in which i send response to server and get output.
The problem what i am facing is when i left my phone ideal (phone get auto locked ) and unlock screen to open app screen.
That activity sends request to server again i don not want this to happen as i am on same activity.

Is there any way i can stop it using onResume,Onpause ??

do something by what your screen wouldn't lock until closing your app.

Check this LINK which explains ACTION_USER_PRESENT which is a protected intent and can be send by system only.
