Should we use ajax as much as we can?

Hi,
Please tell, Ajax are good to use in the websites.I create a login page when i click on go button then it Reload entire page that was not looking good. I put go button in Update panel.
That is Correct way or I shall use javascript for it.

Yes it's ok. But there is a lot more while coding and desiging an enterprise application.

You can go with this approach.Now a days lots of ajax has been used on the pages,even iahve seen several pages used around 100 updatepnel in a single page,but use it properly,else it may cause maintainence problem..
