I have a project where I need to put an UpdateProgress with an updatepanel. inside my updatepanel I have a gridview which shows the result of a select on my DB. This grid shows how many data , this process can take a while, I want to put a gif every time you made ​​the select, giving the user the idea that nothing is stationary.

I need to use the UpdateProgress to take the whole page with the image of the gif making the "loading" and only after this charge is that the grid will be shown with the results.

I already know how to use the UpdateProgress but do not know yet how to use it that way I need, ie to take the entire page and show the grid only after processing.
