What are the benefits of using VC++ project for dll references

Hi,
i am having a project in vc++ (.vcproj). Project is used for dll references. could you let me know what could be the reason behind taking project particularly in vc++.

It depends what you compare it to.
Your question could have been "Pros and cons, C# vs C++"
OR "Pros and cons, C vs C++"
