SQL Express problem.

Database 'E:\Precompiled\Cfi.App.Cfcs\App_Data\Cfi.App.Cfcs.Dev.mdf' already exists. Choose a different database name.
Cannot attach the file 'D:\Projects\Cfi.App.Cfcs\Cfi.App.Cfcs\Cfi.App.Cfcs.WebUI\App_Data\Cfi.App.Cfcs.Dev.mdf' as database 'Cfi.App.Cfcs.Dev'.

This prob comes when i deploy the application. And the same works fine when running through the vs 2008 debugger.

Any clues?

It's about database data/log files. While in development mode it looks like the database created has a location that is tied up with E:

while during deployment you are doing that through D: and the paths are different so getting this issue.

The way you had restored/using the database is causing you issues. Check that.
