Security tokens for user security

HI Friends...

I want know about the Security tokens which have been assigned for each users who have logged in successfully.
My question is what is this Token and how to generate a token for specific user and how does it ends the session (logout) in aspx projects.
Please let me know about this with some examples.

u can use guid() c# for token uniquely
