Hi,
When I use the windows explorer (XP or Win7), I can see the files content in an embedded viewer (the windows explorer preview pane).
Is it possible to embed this preview-component in a .Net program?
I just want to show some files (mostly pdf, but not always) in my program side by side with some additional information where the files belong to.
The windows explorer preview pane does all I want, except it is not part of my program.
My application is written in C# using Visual Studio 2010.
I know, these viewers are registered somewhere in the windows registry. Unfortunately I do not know how to use these components.
I found the Windows API Code Pack. But that only shows how to create such viewers. Not how to use them in a self created program.
My favorite solution would be a wrapper-class, that could be used in a standard windows forms .Net application.
Any hints?
