hi i m making a social netwrking site using asp.net(vb) .
here i have to assign role to a user as user and admin as admin.
that can be useful for assigning preveledges to the user and admin ..

Generally for roles in table. You need to define the proper roles and mapping with the user.
please provide the more details.

You can use asp.net membership provider with the roles functionality built in.
