Hello Archit,

There is an article on MSDN. This article talks about using Windows Search. The API pack required to develop the application with Windows Search is available from MSDN download.

If you do not want to use Windows Search, then you can go with Lucen.Net an Apache Foundation Project. There is also a nice article here on CodePorject by Andrew Smith.
