Converting vbscript code to C#

Hi Richard, the link which u gave is redirecting me to .net rflector software, I have downloaded and tried that, there is nothing to convert vbscript to C#.

In your original response I believe that you should have said "The following link is to a Google search with lots of suggestions. It's up to you to find the one that suits your purpose." Furthermore that is a comment, not a solution. You have effectively removed the question from the unanswered category. If you have experience with a VBScript to C# converter, certainly provide it. I liked the solution supplied by Maciej Los. It answered the question.

Given the lack of detail in the question, and the fact that it could be answered by a quick internet search, then my response was perfectly adequate. There are far too many of these questions posted by people who seem unable or unwilling to do the basics for themselves. This view is shared by many of the people who regularly answer questions here, not just me.

Although I agree with your judgment regarding the OP's question, I cannot agree with your response. I note that you did not participate in the Lounge discussion "Misuse of the Quick Answers Forum" (http://www.codeproject.com/Lounge.aspx?fid=1159&select=4800383&fr=3080#xx0xx). I know that it's hard to keep up but that thread supports your assertion.

Let's assume that OP is a new programmer. Your response does not help, as seen from his reply to you. Worse, converting VB to C# is significantly different from converting VBScript to C#. Your response covered the former; not the latter. It was the latter that OP asked.

I stand by my comments. We (CP) must be friendlier and not condescending to our members who are lost. Yes, give a Google search phrase - but not the search result. And please give it as a comment, not a solution.

Solution 2

As far as i know, there are no automation tool.
You can use: http://converter.telerik.com/[^], which converts vb to C#, but vb is not vbs, it's similar to vb. See Key differences between VB and VBScript[^]
