Hi,

I am new in VB.NEt, but I need to create a small soft that allow me to print user Card(ID Card)... with name, logo and a barcode...

how can I do it in VB.Net

If you have questions about a specific technology, we can try to help you here on the quick answers. But what it seems like you are asking for is for someone to design it for you. We do not know the requirements of your project and wouldn't be able to do that.

I suggest you do some research about ID cards, printing, and barcodes. There are plenty of articles that you can find in CP or even just google that can help get you started.

If you are 'new to VB.NET', then you should not 'need' to write anything. You should be taking a class, and talking to your teachers if you need help ( although you're always free to ask specific questions here ). If you're writing because you need something, you may do better to pay someone to write it for you. If you're being paid yourself, that's obviously disgraceful.

Hi Every One...

I am a IT student here in angolan... and I'll finishe the high (not university) school this year... And I am now preparing my final project... and I resolve do create a little application to manage schools... like:
- enroll new stundets,
- control of absences and presences
- create student ID Card (that I dont know how to do it)...

I just have a database, and a layout... and I just can enroll the user, alterar their information...

now I need to create and print their ID Card...

Can you help me?

Note: I dont need something allready done, I need to learn how to do it
Note2: It is an personal project (Final Project ) and not a comercial project...

Note3: Sorry my english, I am angolan :D

This is quite a complex undertaken to do in vb.net....and certainly not for someone new to VB.Net. I will be surprised if you get anyone to help you on this forum. There are many software packages that provide simple mechanisms to create ID cards. eg...one that comes to mind is Easy Card Creator. But of course you would have to pay for them.....and they may not be ideal for your requirements....you are welcome to email me at kevin.fynn@pacssa.com in South Africa.
