My toolbox of VS 2019 does not display icons for windows form project

when I add reference to my line chart assembly, my user control did not show up on Tool Box. So I decide to reset the tool Box status and click reset button to reset the Tool Box. it is reset, but the bad thing is : it does not display icons for the Windows Form controls.

please see my screenshot.

How to get these icons back before I reset Tool Box?

What I have tried:

I did research on google and find no answer.

Solution 1

I think I find the solution here. it works for my case by removing all .tbd files.
the key is to close Visual Studio 2019 first, then go to the specified folder to remove all .tbd files.

after remove these .tbd files, then start VS 2019. it works.
