Give me some tips to give ID while using asp.net controls

for ex if we use textbox means usually give ID="txt"
for label---ID="lbl" know . . i need in that kind for all controls.

pls someone help me..

As the other responder said, different companies / projects have different naming conventions. But there are some basic recommendations..

Try googling "Naming conventions" you will find a lot of articles.

Different people use different style of such abbreviations.
In some companies there are also corporate rules for these abbreviations.
E.g. you can just skip vowels and double-letters :) - a label will be lbl, button - btn, etc...
